Town of Bowling Green Receives

State Infrastructure Funding

Bowling Green, VA – The State Office of Drinking Water (ODW) has approved an application from the Town of Bowling Green for $30,000 in funding from the State Revolving Loan Fund.

The funds will be used to enhance the GIS Utility Mapping System and develop an Asset Management Program.

The application was submitted by Town Manager India Adams-Jacobs more than 12 months ago and was approved ahead of the end-of-the-year deadline.

“These funds are another step toward improving our GIS system in the area of utility identification,” commented Adams-Jacobs. “This is another step toward the modernization of our Utility system.”

The final amount will be determined after general conditions are approved between ODW and Town Administration.
