Bowling Green, VA – January 24, 2026 – The Town of Bowling Green is urging residents to prepare for the upcoming winter storm, which is expected to bring significant precipitation and the potential for dangerous ice accumulation. We strongly advise residents to avoid traveling on roads unless absolutely necessary during and after the storm to ensure emergency vehicles and snowplows can access critical areas without obstruction.

We request that, once the storm begins, no vehicles park in the downtown area, as VDOT will be conducting snow removal operations.
