Bowling Green, VA – Bowling Green Town Manager India Adams-Jacobs has announced that Town Government offices will be temporarily relocated to allow for repairs and upgrades to Town Hall. The temporary offices will be relocated to 113 Courthouse Lane. New hours will be 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Thursday beginning July 6. Town Government personnel occupying the temporary offices will be the Town Manager, Finance Department and Deputy Clerk. Residents will be able to conduct all normal Town business at the temporary facilities. Town Government offices on Butler Street will be closed beginning June 29 to move furniture and equipment into the temporary facilities. Town Government meetings such as Town Council, Planning Commission and Economic Development Authority will continue to meet in Town Hall at their scheduled times. Town Manager Adams-Jacobs said the relocation is expected to last at least three months while improvements are made to Town Hall. Repairs and upgrades will be for both the exterior and interior of the historical building.
