Please Note: Payments submitted by mail must be postmarked. If payments submitted by mail are not postmarked, the payment will be applied the day it is received.

đź“… Upcoming 2026 Utility Bill Due Dates
Period 1 (November–December) → Due Monday, February 16, 2026​
Period 2 (January–February) → Due Wednesday, April 15, 2026​
Period 3 (March–April) → Due Monday, June 15, 2026​
Period 4 (May–June) → Due Monday, August 17, 2026​
Period 5 (July–August) → Due Wednesday, October 14, 2026​
Period 6 (September–October) → Due Wednesday, December 16, 2026​

While everyone knows the mail can be unpredictable at times, the Town wants to make sure you never feel rushed or worried about your utility bill. If you have not received your bill and it is getting close to the due date, please reach out to billing [at] townofbowlinggreenva.gov (billing[at]townofbowlinggreenva[dot]gov), call 804-633-6212, or stop by the office on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to pay in person and avoid any late fees.​

Did you know that when you change your mailing address, forwarding from the post office is typically only valid for one year? Customers are encouraged to confirm that their mailing address on file with the Town is correct so bi‑monthly utility bills arrive on time. Once completed, you can email the form to billing [at] townofbowlinggreenva.gov (billing[at]townofbowlinggreenva[dot]gov), drop it off in person, or place it in the Town dropbox—whatever is easiest for you.
