Rehabilitation of Drying Bed at Wastewater Treatment Facility

Town Council at its meeting on January 8 approved a drying bed rehabilitation project in the amount not to exceed $35,000.

The existing drying bed required rehabilitation to ensure it is functional and operational for short and long-term use. The project involved removing concrete, excavating, installing drainage stone, perforated pipe, related equipment, and providing labor and materials for a drying bed.

Langford Excavating & Utilities LLC was awarded the contract after submitting a proposal, and finished the job on January 14 for a total of $33,830.
