The Town of Bowling Green is advising residents that an emergency repair is currently underway and is impacting water service in the following areas:
- Maury Ave
- Cary Street
The Town of Bowling Green has issued a Boil Water Notice for customers on/near Maury Avenue and Cary Street following a water main break on South Main Street. Residents in the affected area should use boiled or bottled water for drinking, cooking, making ice, and preparing beverages until further notice. Bring tap water to a rolling boil for 1 minute, then let it cool before use. The notice remains in effect until repairs and water-quality testing are complete, which is anticipated within the next 24 hours. Residents in the affected areas are asked to please be patient and allow crews the necessary time to safely complete the repair.
