GFL Environmental Fall Newsletter 2025

Mastering Yard Waste Collection!
o Place leaves, grass & clippings in biodegradable bags. (If you do not normally get yard waste services, regular trash bags are great and will be serviced on your trash day!)
o We will collect up to 10 bags
o Keep limbs short and bundled (under 3 ft)
o Keep things light – under 40 pounds – it’s a long way to throw up into the hopper
o Make sure to ‘leaf’ some leaves for our pollinator friends!
Fun things we did recently!
We were able to attend two events this past month!
We bought a truck for Fredericksburg Academy’s Fall Festival & Ambrose’s Trash Bash party!
 

We are closed during the following holidays:

• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving
• Christmas
